Minor work carried out today

Mannequins dressed and back on duty, both had been waiting for their new uniforms.  Two Cormorants have been seen circling both lakes and resting in the large trees, both mannequins will be joined by a third later in the week, the three of them have proven track record of being an excellent deterrent to cormorants for the last couple of years.  

The water outlet at the far side of the big lake was reinstated, its been pending since the work was completed on the clay banking, today there was a decent break in the weather allowing time to make it good again.  The clay banking reserve used in the recent project can be seen in the background, the bank sides are firming up nicely and will soon be ready for the hard standing pathways to be put back into place.
